Canadian Artist is Releasing a JRPG Inspired Indie Game Called Godproof

An inclusive, story-driven, action RPG with funky music and engaging characters!

Help Nigel Grimstead fund his latest game Godproof, an inclusive, story-driven, action RPG!

EAST YORK, ON, CANADA, July 31, 2021 / — Godproof is about pushing back the darkness, to discover the unforeseen truths of your very existence! Play as Raiden, a young swordsman determined to return home, accompanied by the bubbly sorceress Eve. Slay cosmic horrors, and make some very interesting friends along the way!

The goal of the kickstarter is to help pay for the—current and future—licences and equipment all used to make this game a reality. Nigel has been developing this game using RPG Maker MV on his 2013 Mac Book Pro he has been using since high school. There are still certain programs he requires, however, he does not have access to them because the current hardware is unable to use the latest applicable operating systems. Nigel needs to upgrade his equipment so he can deliver the best content possible!

Nigel is asking for $5000 CAD for Godproof's kickstarter campaign. He has reached 40% of the goal so far, but the campaign has only 30 days left to reach 100%. Contributors have the opportunity to purchase a limited reward that allows you to be in the game, make your contribution soon!

"What does “Godproof” mean?" Godproof is NOT intended to be anti-religion. The name is what best describes the main character Raiden, and his natural immunity to the powers of omnipotent beings, hence god-proof. Nigel wanted to design a game that truly empowered the player, without being overkill. That’s when he thought, “What if they were immune solely to gods?” and ran with that.

"What inspired Godproof?" Nigel took inspiration from all the fun franchises he love, such as Devil May Cry, Stranger Things, Elder Scrolls, Dark Souls, and many more. He loves DMC to bits, but not everyone can play fast action-based games like those. Nigel made compromise using RMMV engine’s Final Fantasy-style turn based battle system; using a multitude of plugins to make the combat more fast-paced and interesting, without overcomplicating it.

Godproof will be released on Steam for PC and Mac OS users by August 2022

The sale demonstrated a continued passion for the masters of the poster — namely, Alphonse Mucha — but many other superstar artists were represented as well.

This auction, collectors proved the enduring charm of Art Nouveau masters, particularly that of Alphonse Mucha, whose Belle Époque works have a timeless appeal for seasoned and new collectors alike. ”

— Jack Rennert

NEW YORK CITY, NY, UNITED STATES, July 30, 2021 / — Poster Auctions International’s (PAI) second sale of the year, on July 20th, finished at $1.9 million in sales. Rare Posters Auction LXXXIV demonstrated a continued passion for the masters of the poster—namely, Alphonse Mucha.

Jack Rennert, President of PAI, said, “This auction, collectors proved the enduring charm of Art Nouveau masters, and particularly that of Alphonse Mucha, whose Belle Époque works have a timeless appeal for seasoned and new collectors alike. There’s no question that Mucha was the star of this sale. But the strength of Art Nouveau works did not diminish the enthusiasm for Art Deco designs, as witnessed by our strong sales of works by Broders, Cassandre, and Loupot. As always, early designs for the circus continue to excite poster lovers, as evidenced by Pal’s billboard for Lord John Sanger.”

Indeed, collectors clamored for works from the master of Belle Époque beauty, Alphonse Mucha. His lush and evocative designs encouraged fierce bidding and record-breaking sales. His ethereal 1902 series of four decorative panels, The Stars, was the auction’s top lot, at $120,000 (est. $60,000-$70,000). His first-ever poster, Gismonda / Théâtre de la Renaissance, from 1894, beat all previous results for a winning bid of $50,400 (est. $20,000-$25,000). And his luminous Cycles Perfecta, from 1902, received a winning bid of $40,800 (est. $25,000-$30,000). Even a Lefèvre-Utile tin bucket designed by Mucha caused passionate bidding, earning a win of $9,000 (est. $1,700-$2,000).

All prices quoted include the buyer’s premium.

Another master of the Art Nouveau era, Toulouse-Lautrec’s works sold reliably well at auction. His top sale was for the 1892 limited edition print, La Goulue et sa Sœur, which sold for $78,000. His serpentine 1899 Jane Avril was sold for $72,000; the 1892 Reine de Joie was won for $66,000; his 1896 The Ault & Wiborg Co. / Au Concert went for $60,000.

Other gems of the Art Nouveau era delighted collectors. Ferdinand Lunel’s celestial Rouxel & Dubois bicycle poster, from ca. 1894, was sold for $6,600. The never-before-seen ca. 1900 Terrot / Bicyclettes de Tourisme, by Francisco Tamagno, was swept up for $2,880. A rare ca. 1898 circus billboard by Pal, Lord John Sanger / Troupeau d’Éléphants, surpassed its estimate of $7,000-$9,000 for a winning bid of $12,000. Eugène Grasset’s unsettling ca. 1894 La Morphinomane inspired energetic bidding, leading to a win of $14,400 (est. $7,000-$9,000). Privat Livemont’s iconic 1896 Absinthe Robette continued to enthrall bidders; it was won for $18,000 (est. $10,000-$12,000). And Henri Meunier’s evocative Rajah, from 1897, sold for $5,520.

For Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen, two of his most famous designs continued to make poster lovers swoon. His 1896 Chat Noir / Prochainement captured a winning bid of $26,400; his charming 1894 Lait pur Stérilisé warmed collectors’ hearts, earning a win of $18,000.

There were also several notable wins for works from the Art Deco period. Roger Broders’ wanderlust-inducing travel designs were highly desired. His ca. 1930 Monte-Carlo sold for $13,200; the colorful ca. 1930 Corne d’Or was won for $5,280; the sumptuous 1928 Agay inspired a win of $6,600; his beachy 1930 Antibes was claimed for $8,400; and his famous 1929 Dunkerque sailed away for $16,800.

Of course, Leonetto Cappiello held sway over collectors. His charmingly exaggerated 1906 Zeste was carried away for $10,200. An extremely rare 2-sheet format of his famous 1903 Chocolat Klaus, without text, was won for $20,400. Two original maquettes sold very favorably: his Picon Chaud was won for $10,800, and his Vin de France captured a win of $19,200.

Another powerful force of the era, A. M. Cassandre captured enthused wins. His powerful 1927 Nord Express was sold for $21,600; his 1931 L’Atlantique was won for $48,000; the 1930 Vinay was claimed for $7,200; the same amount was awarded to the 1932 Unic.

Other notable Jazz Age sales include Jean-Gabriel Domergue’s flirtatious 1937 L’Hiver à Monte-Carlo, which sold for $11,400. Charles Loupot’s iconic 1938 St. Raphaël was secured for $43,200, and an original 1929 maquette for the paint brand Valentin earned a winning bid of $21,600. René Vincent’s romantic ca. 1925 La Voisin sold for $4,320; Arthur C. Michael’s stately 1935 Harrogate was swept up for $11,400; Fritz C. Rumpf’s decadent ca. 1914 Söhnlein Rheingold earned a winning bid of $5,280.

Velvet Chains lanza "Tattooed" y encabeza a la nueva generación del rock estadounidense

promotional photo by Katarina Benzova

Soothing Stress Through Art

Creating art can help individuals alleviate stress, work through difficult emotions, and build positive self-image.

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, UNITED STATES, July 30, 2021 / — The process of creation is an important tool for stress relief. Creating art allows us to express emotions that are too powerful for words. It helps us work through issues and feel better about ourselves.

Psychiatric circles have long used Art Therapy to help people express themselves. Creating an image about an issue allows the person to distance themselves and gain clarity. Creativity causes a relaxed state, which can allow a person to access buried memories. Art is a safe way to explore difficult emotions within boundaries and structure.

Crafting art can boost self image as well. Making something unique provides a sense of accomplishment and control. It empowers the creative, giving them individual choice and freedom. Making a piece of art is a problem solving process, which teaches better coping skills in life. Putting an emotion into a physical form can also offer catharsis.

The world we live in now has made it difficult to connect with artists physically. With many feeling isolated and alone, artistry is even more essential to us. Art provides an escape to a freer space. Making art connects us to other times, places, and cultures. It has the power to provide a link between people across the globe, who would never have met otherwise. The internet has proven to be an essential vehicle for sharing art.

Curious Mondo’s goal is to empower creatives around the world to make more art. The company’s founder, Shahar Boyayan, commented, “I love making art. It gives my brain time to buffer, forget about the problems of the day, and focus on creating something beautiful.” This is the spirit that Curious Mondo hopes to share with the world. Lovetuner, the Revolutionary Meditation & Breathing Device Calibrated to 528 Hz: Healing the World, One Heart at a Time

Lovetuner 528hz Meditation & Breathing Device

Sigmar Berg, Lovetuner Founder & CEO

Sigmar Berg, Lovetuner Founder & CEO

The Lovetuner is a revolutionary approach to reduce stress, relieve anxiety, and arrive in the present moment, connecting your exhale with the 528hz frequency

When I was introduced to the 528hz Frequency and started the Lovetuner one thing came right away to my mind: The Lovetuner is the tool that will heal the world”

— Sigmar Berg, Lovetuner CEO & Founder

MALIBU, CA, UNITED STATES, July 30, 2021 / — Most of us run around each day, worrying. Worrying about whether we have enough time, enough money, enough success, enough “stuff”. We are constantly thinking about what we think we need, what we want, what we ought to be doing but don’t have time for. Once we reach one goal, we suddenly manufacture another to take its place. It’s always more, more, more. We’re addicted to more. More of everything. And so there’s never enough.
What’s the harm, you may ask? It’s stress. Lots of it.

Stress is dangerous to your health. Constant emotional stress weakens our immune system, gives us high blood pressure and causes fatigue, depression, and anxiety.

What if you could melt that stress away in just minutes? What if you didn’t need any training or special skills to do it? No pills or fancy machines or gurus or doctors.

The Lovetuner is the revolutionary meditation device that can change your life. Within 6 simple breathing cycles, you are capable of releasing stress and anxiety. The Lovetuner melts away stress, shifting your focus from the chaos in your head to the love in your heart. There’s a reason that over 100 million love songs have been recorded over the last 150 years: love is a basic human need, and one that has all too often been overcome by the stress of everyday life.
The Lovetuner is calibrated to 528hz, a natural frequency that vibrates at the same frequency of our heart and our DNA. But that’s just half the story – it’s the love frequency, combined with intentional, mindful breathing that is the underlying genius of the Lovetuner.
How does it work? Everything in the universe has a vibration. Nothing is static. Each of our organs – when they are healthy and maintain the ability to self-heal – vibrates at a specific frequency. The Lovetuner is calibrated to the frequency of your heart, and when you take a moment to slow your breath and exhale through the Lovetuner, it creates a tone that your heart organ immediately “recognizes.”

With that recognition, your focus instantly moves from your brain to your heart as it decreases cortisol, your body’s main stress hormone, and, in turn, releases oxytocin into your system, regulating your emotional responses and pro-social behaviors. It’s not wishful thinking, but scientific fact: when the Lovetuner instantly “corrects” and strengthens our heart’s natural vibration, we move into a reflective state of clarity and purpose. Outside stress doesn’t go away, but we become much better equipped to handle it. And because your DNA also vibrates at 528 Hz here’s a bonus: the Lovetuner supports the healing and repair of your DNA that may have become damaged due to exposure to harmful toxins, sustained stress, or alcohol and drug use.

Sigmar Berg, Lovetuner CEO and Founder, immediately understood this when he was first introduced to the 528 Hz frequency. After researching and gathering knowledge from around the world, Berg launched Lovetuner, Inc. in 2014. Already a successful designer and entrepreneur, Berg designed the Lovetuner to be both functional and beautiful. The Lovetuner can be worn around your neck, close to your heart, or on a keychain, much like jewelry.
Says Berg, “I never saw the Lovetuner just as a product. The frequency touched my heart, and a way bigger and universal mission formed and manifested. Without even knowing where the journey goes, I coined the slogan, ‘One Journey’. And this is exactly what it means to me. It’s a journey inward, healing yourself and the collective. I saw right away that the Lovetuner is the key for everybody – no matter if spiritually elevated or just curious – to connect instantly into the divine web of love.” To hear more from Sigmar Berg, Lovetuner CEO & Founder, check out:

The Lovetuner mission is to spread the love, encourage people around the world to become self-empowered, and to support our planet by raising the frequency to create a better world. Since its introduction, the Lovetuner has become a worldwide phenomenon, known for its ability to open the door to emotional and physical health and well-being through mindful breath and the 528 Hz love frequency.

Perhaps the most well-known proponent of Lovetuner is author and alternative-medicine advocate, Dr. Deepak Chopra. Chopra remarks, “Why am I interested in the Lovetuner? A lot of people say, ‘I don’t have time to meditate.’ [Other] people say, ‘I don’t even have time to take a breathing break.’ Or ‘I don’t know how to be in the present moment.’ [The Lovetuner] is a device that can change all that.” To hear more of what he has to say and tune with Deepak Chopra, visit:

Thanks to the commercial success of Lovetuner, Founder Sigmar Berg established the Lovetuner Foundation, a nonprofit organization that promotes wellness and healing. Through the Lovetuner Foundation, Berg has taken his mindfulness tool into schools, businesses, and veteran groups. In the schools, Lovetuner has a profound effect on student behavior, virtually abolishing bullying and increasing student attentiveness to learning. Businesses who institute a Lovetuner “tuning break” during the workday have noticed an increase in employee productivity and satisfaction, improving their “bottom line”. And veterans have experienced relief from the challenges of PTSD with the Lovetuner, improving mental health and reducing incidence of suicide.

“I encourage you to join us on the Lovetuner journey to make this world a more peaceful, sustainable, loving, happier and healthier place. I’m honored to give you the possibility to elevate others to their full potential and vibrating in a higher frequency. Let’s connect all of us with the power of the Love frequency and the longing of our hearts to overcome separation and polarity.”̶̶ Sigmar Berg, Lovetuner CEO & Founder

The Lovetuner can truly change the world, and we are just beginning to understand the true potential of its impact on our health and well-being. To find out more about the Lovetuner, make a purchase, or meditate to the 528 Hz frequency, visit

Eric Bitz of BuyNiceCards Discusses Why He's So Excited to be Back At NSCC Show

Eric Bitz of BuyNiceCards Discusses Why He's So Excited to be Back At NSCC Show

Want to get into sportscard collecting? Then you should head to the National Sports Collectors Convention, where sportscard expert Eric Bitz of BuyNiceCards and others will be hand to answer questions and provide advice.

The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted many conferences and events in 2020 but with over 160 million people now vaccinated in the United States alone, many events are proceeding this year. If you’re into sports memorabilia, the National Sports Collectors Convention is all but a must-visit event. Sportscard trading expert Eric Bitz explains why.

“The National Sports Collectors Convention is by far the biggest convention for sports card and memorabilia trading,” Eric Bitz points out. “If you want to meet with like-minded people, see cool collectibles, and get expert advice, this is the place to do it.

The NSCC comes from humble beginnings. Back in 1980, a handful of collectors met at a hotel next to the Los Angeles airport to discuss the industry and share insights. By 2010, over 600 collectors were on hand, along with dozens of stars and athletes signing cards, and many more guests viewing the goods and learning about collecting.

The 2020 show was supposed to be hosted in Atlantic City. Unfortunately, the 2020 show was canceled, but this year the convention at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago. The NSCC will run from July 28th to August 1st.

“I’ve been going to the NSCC for some years now, and I’ve seen it grow. I was looking forward to the show in Atlantic City last year,” Eric Bitz notes, “Too bad it got canceled, but I expect to have a great time in Chicago this year. Between the Bulls, Cubs, and other teams, Chicago is a huge sports city and always a great host.”

This year, Spencer Rattler, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Ray Lewis, and Bill Walton, among others, will be on hand to sign autographs. If you’ve got collectors’ cards, now’s a great time to get them signed. Other memorabilia, such as signed t-shirts, will also make fun additions to your collection.

Eric Bitz Explains Why Newbies Should Come to the NSCC

Whether you’re an experienced collector or new to the hobby, the 2021 NSCC is worth the trip. You’ll get to rub elbows with athletes signing cards and professional card collectors too, many of whom will be more than happy to share tips. If you want to chat with Eric Bitz, you can find him at booth #566.

Collecting sports cards can be quite lucrative and a ton of fun as well. That said, you do have to be careful. Scammers may try to rip you off, selling subpar goods at an inflated price. By going to conventions and learning from experienced card collectors, you may avoid scams and the like.

“Linking up with experienced collectors is especially wise if you’re new to the hobby,” Eric Bitz says. “We can help you recognize red flags and also offer tips for finding valuable cards and whatnot. These days, sports card collecting is as much an investment as it is a hobby.”
